what i do

I’m a Production Designer and Art Director with over 18 years of experience creating environments across film, television, and music-driven projects.

My work has taken me from large studio productions like Black Panther: Wakanda Forever and Beyoncé’s Renaissance to independent features where the challenge is building something impactful with real-world constraints. That range shaped how I design. I think in terms of scale, movement, and what actually matters in a space, whether the build is expansive or intentionally minimal.

I come from a Panamanian family and spent part of my early life in Okinawa, Japan, which gave me an early sensitivity to how culture, texture, and environment shape experience. That perspective continues to show up in my work through attention to detail, atmosphere, and the way people move through a space.

I’ve led multiple projects as a Production Designer, most recently on a feature currently trending in Netflix’s Top 10. Across every level of production, I focus on creating environments that feel grounded, intentional, and alive on camera and in real life.

My training at Cal Poly Pomona and the American Film Institute gave me a strong foundation in visual storytelling, and years of working across different budgets, locations, and timelines have refined my approach. I value collaboration, clarity, and finding the most effective way to bring an idea to life.

I’m especially interested in projects that translate beyond the screen, where environments become something people can step into, move through, and experience directly.
